Milestone news this week as industry giant Disney announced they're launching their newest show as an iPad-only digital download - forsaking cable channels and free-to-air broadcasters (at least for the time being). With 5 million downloads and 650 million video views so far, the Watch Junior Disney app has been a big hit for the company as it tries to capture the attention of younger viewers who look to mobile and tablet devices first for their entertainment.

We expect to see a lot more of these experiments with mobile-first shows as the boom in handheld devices continues to change viewing habits around the globe.
