The newest way of getting a buzz going about your product has to be the ever-growing medium of Prankvertisments. From laugh-out loud funny to downright cruel, pretty much anything is fair game for these contemporary candid camera spots. That said, this stunt from New York viral video makers Thinkmodo to promote the upcoming revamp of Stephen King's CARRIE is pretty darn fun - and definitely worth the watch. Not only does it raise a genuine smile, but for once the looks of shock/horror™ on the bystanders' faces as the telekinetic shenanigans kick off is actually pretty believable.
Now where did I leave that bucket of pig's blood?
