Simply the best

Dum de de dum de dum dum dummmmm! Ahem. So with great excitement and bated breath it is our pleasure to announce the winners of the inaugural Invisible Artists Staff Picks for 2013.

The Democratic Republic of IA were asked to choose the best piece of work from across the year, along with their own personal favourite, and finally the bestest thing in 2013 to come out from outside these hallowed halls. So without further ado...

Best piece of work by in 2013 by Invisible Artists - Zurich Brand Ambassadors TVCs

Tons of light, lots of foreground and a whole heap of quality glass gives these pieces a lovely dreamy feel that we all think sits very differently to the usual insurance TVC.

There's also some pretty epic raking going on too.

Favourite piece of work in 2013 by Invisible Artists: Sydney Opera House - The Festival of Dangerous Ideas

Edgy and at times disturbing this super glitchy spot by resident animaniac Danny Stern is the firm favourite of everyone in the office, and for good reason.

Best piece of creative made in the whole external world during 2013 - The Simpsons 'Treehouse of Horror' title sequence by Guillermo del Toro

What! The Simpsons! So it looks like we have more fanboys and girls hanging out over in Chippendale than anyone could have suspected.

Hilarious and probably a little too long, this glorious homage to pretty much every horror and sci-fi icon over the last 50 years is by the Mexican master of cerebral gore - Guillermo del Toro.

Watch it and watch it again because The Simpsons probably isn't getting any better than this.
