What’s in a name? For Coca-Cola, the Share a Coke campaign has always resonated with an audience that love to spot their own names on bottles of the iconic drink. For the relaunch in Australia, the brand wanted to go one step further, and engage their fans with a more targeted and inclusive social media approach.
That’s where we came in. Over the course of a few months, we churned out a multitude of content from the launch assets, all the way through to GIFs and 360s.

“They look so gooood!”

Spinning Around
A hugely successful part of the campaign was our 360º photo walls for Facebook. Featuring over 400 names, viewers could look around the wall, zoom in and find their name.
We produced versions for first names and last names, for Australia and New Zealand. The popular game attracted many tags, comments and shares, with the Australian First Name Asset generating over 3000 comments and 700 shares alone!
GIFS Galore
Our favourite part of this project had to be these GIFs. On top of being beautifully designed and animated, we supplied the project files to Coca-Cola with live text, so they could easily change the names on the bottles.
On the brand’s Facebook page, fans would post comments on posts and Coca-Cola would then respond to these comments with our GIFs, featuring the name of the person who made the comment.
People would get a thrill from seeing a GIF with their and their friends’ names on it, spawning another round of sharing and engagement. Heart emojis all round!
